XiXi Yang Talking Golden Globes Fashion on “Halo Halo” Show Channel 18 Los Angeles KSCI-TV!

Hey friends!! I had such an AMAZING time chatting with Renee, Bell, and Kat from Channel 18 KSCI-TV!

Not only did I get to dish on Golden Globes fashion in full Mandarin Chinese, I also got to name some of the celebs I was most disappointed in seeing on the red carpet this year.

Golden Globes is THE most important award show in Hollywood right before the Oscars! Stars always try their best to look smashin’ in fashion for their fans, competitors, and, of course, the Foreign Press Association.

Nude colors, light pink, and bright white shades were everywhere on the carpet this season! Red was also a popular choice if you’re bold like Dianna Agron and Reese Witherspoon. Hello REESE! Can we PLEASE talk about how GORGEOUS that mermaid-shaped Zac Posen dress looked on her?! Matched with her messy, casual chic hair and her bronzed skin color… Reese was looking tastier than a bag of Reese’s Pieces!

Choosing a form-fitting is so hot this season! Sofia Vergara also rocked a mermaid-shaped gown. Another HUGE trend coming back in style are headbands. Michelle Williams wore one to play up the quirky style of her unique Jason Wu dress. Charlize Theron wore a light pink headband to complete her STUNNING pink dior gown! I am absolutely in love with her dress! The low cut halter top matched with the leg slit showed was just the right balance between fresh and sophisticated!

Let’s be honest. I hate criticizing what the celebs are wearing on the carpet. We all have our off days and who am I to balance out the universe and play fashion po-po?

BUT I also have to keep it real with my fabulous viewers like you. I absolutely hated Sarah Michelle Gellar’s tie-dye, bed-sheets-looking gown! It’s pretty cute her 2-year-old daughter chose it but come on, you can’t wear that to the Globes!

I was also not a major fan of Angelina Jolie’s dress. She has such a stunning figure she can rock anything but the white Atelier Versace dress with the red collar was just a little too stiff on her. She looks washed out and the red was too matchy. Her lips were bright red, collar is red, purse is red, and carpet is red. Her hair was pulled back in too tight of a bun. It was definitely not as sexy as her sparkly, green Atelier Versace dress from the year before.

I’m a huge fan of the more effortlessly-chic Angelina, not so much this stiff, posh-looking Angelina.
